Sure, the Lexmark X2250 is cheap. But it isn't a good deal for the
home printer with hopes for quality, or even decent, printing at a
brisk pace. Top speed is 14 pages per minute and 8 pages per minute
in color--but that's only in draft mode, which won't come anywhere
near the available maximum resolution of 4,800 x 1,200 dpi. This
All-In-One comes with no faxing function, but does include
software for managing and printing photos. The scanner offers a
resolution of 600 x 1,200 dpi optical scanning and the copier can
function without a PC being on. So it has most of the goods and an
under $100 price tag, but the speed and quality of the Lexmark X2250
All-in-One Printer might fall below what you demand from your home
office printer.
