The Lexmark P915 Thermal Inkjet Printer is in line with Lexmark's
claim that their products simplify the printing process. You'll have
the photo P915 Printer up and running within minutes of taking it out
of the box, and you can even bypass the PC by using the memory cards of most digital cameras or digital devices with PictBridge technology. When forgoing the
computer in the printing process, the 2.5" LCD screen on the P915
makes it easy to manage and view (there's a slideshow option) photos
before printing them. Photo enthusiasts can expect crisp prints with
up to 4,800 x 1,200 dpi resolution in color and up to 2,400 x 1,200
dpi resolution in black. In normal print mode, printing speed is about
12 pages per minute in black and 6 pages per minute in color. Great
print quality comes at a price though, and in this case it's not the
printer itself that will put a dent in the bank account--it's the ink.
The #31 photo color print cartridge and the #32 black print cartridge
are the standard options--and expect to see their low ink indicator
often. Otherwise, the Lexmark P915 Thermal Inkjet Printer is an

output to boot.
