The HP PSC 1350 All-in-One is an affordable and compact option for the
low-volume home office. It scans, prints and copies, and does all
three well considering the under $100 price tag. The HP PSC 1350 All-in-One
is moderately fast: in draft mode it prints 17 pages per minute
in black and white and 12 pages per minute in color. Switch the
printer to best mode, however, and it's only about 1 page per minute
each, in 600 dpi resolution for black and white and up to 4800 x 1200
dpi resolution for color prints. The HP PSC 1350 All-in-One accepts
numerous memory cards (CompactFlash, SmartMedia, Memory Sticks,
SecureDigital/MultiMedia, and xD-Picture) so you can print photos
without the PC. Or scan images in up to 600 x 2,400 dpi optical
resolution and mange your photos with the included HP photo software.
The HP 1350 won't guzzle ink, but expect the standard fees for
regularly replacing the HP 57 tri-color inkjet print cartridge (or the
six-color HP 58 Photo Inkjet print cartridge), and the black ink
cartridge. If you don't mind sacrificing silence and speed for a
little savings, the HP PSC 1350 All-in-One is a great machine to meet
your simple home office needs.
