The Canon MultiPass MP390 Multifunction offers quality prints, copies,
scans and faxes at price that won't break the bank. Its small
footprint is ideal for the home office. You don't even have to pull
out the PC if you're printing pictures from a memory card or camera
with PictBridge technology. And the MP390 prints great quality photos
with color resolution of up to 4,800 x 1,200 dpi using 2-picoliter
droplet size. Along with quality prints comes software for optimizing
each photograph before you even get to the printing process and
borderless printing is optional for standard size photos. The Canon
MultiPass MP390 is equally adept at delivering quality business
functions, such as printing and copying capability of 18 pages per
minute in black and white and up to 12 pages per minute in color and a
color scanner with 48-bit internal color and 1,200 x 2,400 dpi optical
resolution. The only drawbacks seem to be the multi-color BCI-24
color ink tank (which is a little less economical than single color
ink tanks) and the fax function (which must scan each page before
faxing it). But for home offices with only the occasional fax, the Canon
MultiPass MP390 Multifunction is a high-quality investment that goes
beyond just getting the job done.
